It is said that ever since the Heian period, #EikandoZenrinji has passed the merciful heart of Amida as the main temple of Nembutsu reciting. Under the great Abbot Yokan, commonly known as “Eikan”, the temple expanded and has received the respect of the community because of his efforts to help the poor. Now, the temple is also well-known for its amazing autumn foliage in the #Higashiyama area.
