Traditional Moroccan weddings used to last seven days. The bride and groom’s families used to have parties in their own homes before the day where the bride actually meets the groom. Of course, everyone of the two families were invited so that led to many days of partying. However today this really isn’t practical and rarely done. There are only one or two big parties (one at the brides’, one at the grooms’) or just one big party for both. There are also other nights to the celebration. If you are not Moroccan, there is nothing stopping you from following these traditions. Morocco is a gorgeous country for you to have your wedding. There are so many gorgeous places for stunning photo opportunities that are definitely insta worthy! You could get married in the city and honeymoon in the desert! Endless options. Let us know if you have questions. We would love to assist you as you tour our exotic mysterious Country.
